The contact owns a 2008 Cadillac Escalade. When the vehicle was started, the navigation, radio, and time lights illuminated and flashed on and off. After the contact returned home and parked the vehicle, it rolled backwards, dragging part of the contact's clothing and the safety seat that was in her hand. The contact was able to pull herself and the safety seat away from the rolling vehicle before it crashed into a tree in front of the neighbor's house. The air bags did not deploy. The contact sustained bruises on her left leg and left arm. The contact scheduled an appointment to see the doctor in three days. The vehicle was damaged and driven back to the contact's home. A police report was not filed. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was waiting for an evaluation of the damages by the insurance company. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 119,000.

I will be driving and lose all power! it does it at different speeds. Its like someone turns the car off and back on. The weird thing is it will do it alot one day and then it doesnt do it for a couple of days. It always comes back on but in traffic it could be very dangerous. I have had it put on computers and it never has showed anything. And I was reading on recalls on the ignitions and thought it could be a part oif the recall

The contact owns a 2008 Cadillac Escalade. While driving approximately 65 to 70 mph on normal road conditions; there was an unintended forceful acceleration. The vehicle failed to slow down and the driver manually shifted gears into the "neutral" position. There were no warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel; suddenly, the vehicle resumed to normal operation. There were three separate occasions that the identical failures occurred without warning. An authorized dealer was unable to replicate the failures. The contact was aware of the safety risk involved. The vehicle is not being driven at this time. The failure mileage was 35,000 and the current mileage was 57,000.
