With such low mileage on this car at the time of my catalytic converter failure, I asked the dealership to help with these costs as I did not have that kind of money laying around. They covered most of it under a "good will" act and I paid $100. My gripe is that this should have never happened with such low mileage. I've driven many GM cars in the last 50 years and have never had major issues like this one. And my warranty did not cover it because it had just expired. But, I had the car into them because of poor performance and noise months prior to that warranty expiring but they never found the problem at that time. REALLY????
