Headlights going dim. I replaced the bulbs (both) in January of this year as my headlights were to dim to drive at night. Now 8 months later I am having the same issue. I noticed condensation inside the glass. Since then I have R ached and found this is not only a dangerous issue but a substantial issue with this make and year. I feel betrayed by my dealer as they know very well the issue. Manu class action lawsuits have been filed. I truly love my Cadillac and would purchase another. But that will remain to be seen as to how this issue is handled.

Headlight dim mode is as if the headlights are not even on, it is dangerous if not impossible to drive at night and especially dangerous in the rain at night.also front end suspension in cold weather or when turning to the right causes tire to rub on the fender well. It has done this since I drove it off the car lot. Am aware of service bulletin, but there is no fix for this either, as there is no adjustment for the camber. Very disappointed in Cadillac and gms obvious greed instead of its safety concerns. Sad! how many people will die before this is admitted by GM and actually addressed and resolved.

The Srx has an extremely well-known issue for which GM has ignored. My car is only six years old and the headlights became so dim - I would often check to see if they were even on. It got so bad, the car couldn't be driven at night. There are multiple complaints of this same issue and the only way to fix it is to pay GM over $1,000 to replace them. There needs to be a recall before someone that can't afford the repair is killed or kills someone. I've contacted Cadillac a number of times and I keep getting canned responses. The last reply was, "Ms. Matchus, motor vehicle recalls are released when the vehicle or an item in the vehicle's equipment does not comply with a Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard; or when there is a safety-related defect present in the vehicle or equipment. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards set minimum performance levels for those parts of the vehicle which may affect its safe operation (brakes, tires, lighting, etc) or those which protect drivers and passengers from death or serious injury in the event of a crash." I would say for certain that the well-known issue with headlights being so dim they appear to not even be on would fall under the " safety-related defect present in the vehicle or equipment." If the dealership I went to openly said they had already done three vehicles before me for the same issue in the past 48 hours, that seems like enough push for a recall. Not to mention the large number of people that have reported the headlight issue online. Please advocate for a recall of this. Here are a few links with complaints: M.carcomplaints.com/news/2018/Cadillac-Srx-headlight-assembly-GM.shtml, M.carcomplaints.com/news/2018/Cadillac-Srx-headlight-lawsuit-nationwide-class-action.shtml, M.carcomplaints.com/news/2017/Cadillac-Srx-dim-headlights-lawsuit.shtml. it happened in ca and needs to happen nationwide.

Low beam headlights do not provide adequate lighting at night. You cannot see 30 feet in front of the car on a dark road. I have been told by mechanics that there is nothing they can do to guarantee improvement. This is both GM mechanics and independent. Not being able to see when you are driving at night is not only dangerous to me but also to oncoming drivers as I have to use my bright lights to see where I am going and consequently create glare for the oncoming cars. I feel that Cadillac has a responsibility to provide safety when they sell a product. Please recall the car and resolve this problem. I am planning to keep this car for more than four more years and dont want to have a safety problem to try to work around. I have owned the car from new in 2012 and use it everyday. It has been, and is, maintained by GM. Dealers.

My wife and I were returning home from an patriotic concert when we loss the headlight on the drivers side of the vehicle and the check left low beam headlight warning displayed in the driver's information display. When we got home I noticed the driver's side headlight assembly had moisture in it and the light was not functioning. I took the vehicle to the deal for repairs. I was told the light needed to be replaced and that I may want to replace the light assembly because moisture in the light assembly is a known issue and the light could fail again if the assembly isn't replaced. I asked if the problem was a know issue; the service manager say it happens every so often. I told her to order the light assembly. When I got home I googled the problem. It appears this is a known problem on the Srx that goes back to 2010 Srxs. I believe this is a safety issue due the possibility of losing both heads in an inopportune time and Cadillac should address the issue immediately. 95 problems reported; no deaths yet.

When it rains the closed sunroof drains into both floor boards of the car, and into the back hatch floorboard whether driving or stationary. Soaking my feet while driving. This has also caused the electrical system that controls the liftgate to go out and it will not open even manually. It saturates the floor and is causing mold to grow underneath the carpet which I would think is a health risk especially for owners like me who have a child with asthma. This happens every time it rains or I wash my car. It has been a problem for almost a year.

The contact owns a 2012 Cadillac Srx. While driving at 65 mph during inclement weather, the windshield wipers were activated but failed to function. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, who diagnosed that the windshield wiper motor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 76,000.

Wide A- pillars restrict forward visibility. I have had near accidents by pulling out in front of vehicle which was blocked from view by A-pillar.
