The car did not start. Checked the battery which was 1 year old. voltage looked good. Connected the code reader to see if there were any codes pending. Did not show any codes. Then when i started it, it started miraculously and ran fine. Thought it was a random one-off situation. went fine for a couple of trips and then refused to start again from the gym.

Connected the code reader again and it started. I put the symptoms in chatgpt and it said the code reader actually resets the electric system and that could be the reason it started. Took it to a local mechanic and it stalled twice on the way to his shop which was 10 miles away. He had the car for a couple of days and then said it was some negative ground issue where he had to fix some cable. After this it has been good so far. fingers crossed.

After placing remote in the slot next to the gear shift, press brake and start button, it wont start. Message on dash is "remote is not present". I have gone and put the spare remote in and it still will not start, have replaced the batteries with no results. Had it towed to dealer, overnight, following day went to pick up and told that it started right up for them, they ran electrical test and found nothing wrong at a cost of $150 - month later have same problem. Now, after the first failed start, I wait a few minutes and try again, sometimes it takes 3 tries!!!

This is my last push button start vehicle!
