Our 2013 Cadillac SRX headlamps are so weak and dark we cannot drive it after it gets dark. They are so weak that other cars pull out in front of us because they can't see us coming. This seems to us to be very dangerous. I talked to the service dept. at the Cadilliac dealership and they said "that' just the way it is with these cars" I think it's time for a recall and make GM make the necessary fix.

Lights on dim are extremely dangerous. I could not see an animal in the road after dark. I can not drive my vehicle after dark because of afraid of running over something or crashing. I cannot tell you enough how bad it is. I have been reading complaints on all the Cadillac reviews on my year and model. Why would Cadillac put something on the roads this dangerous?

Low beam headlights are so dim that visibility at night is very low and dangerous to drive. New replaced parts result in same problem within few months and customer has to pay for replacements. Paying for it since Aug 2018 and problem still exists.

We notice our highlights was very dim for months I called the Cadillac dealership in fort walton beach Florida and spoke to someone in their service department, that service person claimed he knew nothing about a recall on the headlights then when I told him there is a class actions lawsuit on the headlights problem he put me on hold then when he got back on the line he knew about the problem and told me to bring in my Cadillac and they would work out something March 7, 2019 we took our Cadillac to Cadillac dealership in fort walton beach we spoke with nick in their service department he told us there was a block on the warranty for the headlights issued that Monday, March 4, 2019. And they didn't know why. Our Cadillac is still under the bumper to bumper warranty until April 2019 next month! but nick said there isn't anything they can do and he will try and find out why there was a block placed on the headlights. Monday, March 4, 2019. We was given the report called 'workbench' we spoke with nick March 8, 2019 david a manager at Cadillac fort walton beach called us and said he received a letter from GM that they would pay up to sixteen hundred dollars ($1,600) but we would have to pay for the repairs out of our pocket then would be reimbursed but because there is a block on it they can't do that either and his regional manager and a district manager are looking into why there is a block on the headlights repairs. On Monday, March 11, 2019 david said he would email us a copy of the letter which has the information about the pay upfront sixteen hundred dollars ($1,600) for our records because we never received that letter or any information about the faulty headlights. At this time we have not been given any indication the problem will be fixed!

Front lights are not strongly lit at times. Especially when it is extremely dark out side. When it is not so dark outside the lights work perfect. In extreme dark nights must use the high beams to be able to see the roads

Headlights are hazy can not see anything while driving during the night. This could cause a bad accident. Popping noise on front driver side while car is running dealership says it was a loose axel nut. The dealership tried repairing it twice, still the same.

Headlights are so dim, you can not see at night at all. Its very dangerous to drive at night in this car. There has to be a resolution to this.

I have a 2013 Cadillac Srx. I have had it exactly a year from June 30 2017-June 30th 2018. I have had problems with the lights every since I bought it. When you go from bright to dim its like cutting off your headlights completely. It is very unsafe and dangerous. I took off work one day to take the car back to the same dealership I bought it from to see if they could fix the problem. They tried there best not to work on it. They had every excuse. They first wanted me to trade my car in for another and this took 2 hours and they wanted me to pay 10,000 extra to what I already owe on the car I bought from them the first time. Then I tell them I want my car fixed. So they send me to another employee. He trying his best to find any excuse to not be able to work on it. Needless to remind U I purchased a bumper to bumper warranty when I bought the car I paid an extra $2,400. So the employee is telling me it does not cover the bumper it only covers electrical components between the bumper. So I was lied to when I bought the warranty. Besides that he then tells me that it will be $150 just to check my headlights even to he already checked with another Srx and said that they where really dim compared to the other used Srx. But he want to charge me $150 just to check for electrical problems and charge me $21 a bulb. Needless to say I waited another 2 hours I was there for 4 hours and nobody tried to fix nothing.

Unsafe defected headlights. Today, I had a tech at claude nolan Cadillac jacksonville, fl check the headlights and the cue-system on my 2013 Srx model. The tech-adviser informed me that I need headlamps that cost $1200 each and three downloads to fix the cue technology system issue. What? these issues are well documented as ongoing issues. Why are we...the customers addressing General Motors (GM) noted defect/issue surrounding the Srx 2013 model? I will use social media to inform folks and potential buyers to beware of this safety issue. GM is not being accountable nor responsible. The Srx 2013 model is an unsafe vehicle due to their headlights: A recall is needed for this defect (that's the right thing to do). Buyers beware of any other GM-Cadillac models; not to mention the Cadillac-cue system experience that freeze or cycle automatically without touch. As a consumer, I supported GM-american cars (not after this). Remember GM, you can measure lost revenue.

Headlamps (low beam only) are too dim when driving at night. In areas where the roads are not well lit driving with low beams on is extremely dangerous. We have avoided driving at night or with high beams on (which becomes dangerous for other drivers). We reported the problem directly to Cadillac via a phone call and was told to see a dealership. The dealership (massey Cadillac of North orlando) informed us this was a common problem with the headlamps projector but there is no recall on it. The headlamps cannot be fixed, only replaced. Replacing the headlamps would cost just over $1,000. We feel Cadillac has a defect in there headlamps and is making no effort to rectify the issue. We can only speculate as to why Cadillac will not recall or help customers with out-of-date warranties. The problem is with the low beam getting to hot and creating distortion or a build-up in the projector. We can take photos if needed, but felt it might be hard to tell what's going on via a photo.

Cue system froze up, no response from touch screen, vss system warning light on, seat heaters do not work. Thus no ability to control heater or defrost system and owners manual indicated that if the vss light is lit the vss system is not operational. It is not possible to operate a vehicle in Michigan in the winter with out control of the defroster and since the vss system is tied in to the brakes I am not confident the antilock brake system will function. Vehicle purchased 6-29-13 and has approx 37,000 miles. Dealer offered to repair for $1750 but negotiated to $750 I feel this is a safety defect on a low mileage vehicle and the manufacture should cover the cost of repairs. There have been at least 5 "service update bulletins " with softerware updated for the cue system on this vehicle when I have had it in for service. So clearly there are electronic problems with this system and my latest problem impacts my safety while operating this vehicle in the wintertime. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate thes softerwarecand operational issues to preserve driver safety while using this vehicle. It was parked in the garage in late August 2016 and when started up in early November the cue control system screen was unresponsive.
