After just a few years our 2014 Srx had a headlight problem on the driver side it was them and very low and was replaced by the dealer luckily under the warranty. The passenger side was also failing but not as badly so it was not replaced. Just a few months after the warranty expired the passenger side also is very dim and the car cannot be driven at night. This is obviously a major problem and GM is not admitting enough to make it a recall. Please help

The road appears dark in front of our car. The car has a small range of visibility because the head lights are defective. Even though we have replaced them twice at at a very high cost for a new one, the new head lights have no visibility at night. In order to see the road at night, we are forced to drive with the high beam on. We replaced them with original factory parts. My wife and I are both seniors and we only drive cads since 1967. All GM mechanics say that the headlights are defective. Please help us.

The headlights on my 2014 Cadillac Srx are not adequate to drive safely at night. I am a 32 year old male with good vision and I have an extremely hard time seeing the road at night. After searching for fixes, I found that this is a very common problem with 2010 - 2015 model Cadillac Srxs.

About 6 months ago, noticed low beam visibility was very low. Dealer said "common problem" needed to replace entire lighting unit ($800 each side). Now after having time to research, finding it is a common problem with other Srx owners. Did change bulbs, but that was no help. Cadillac needs to step forward and remedy the problem.

The normal headlights at night do not provide any help. Was told there is nothing wrong with the lights or the assembly. Every bad review says this is a known problem. Every safety rating has been lowered due to headlight issue. Selling car and not buying any more Cadillac's if Cadillac isnt going to help repair their known issues with their vehicles. You spend upper 5 figures for a car and get told too bad. Poor customer service.

Night driving is very dangerous for me. I have to drive with my high beam lights on. The low beam lights are so dim they do not give safe vision. Since we have had the car,2014, we always felt the lights were too dim. At the time the dealer said there really wasn't any real solution for the problem. If they replaced them the same thing would occur. I should have had my concerns authenticated in writing, but didn't. I have contacted GM and am waiting for a response. The last time I talked to them they said they had no recall issues due to the lights. I asked them to reopen the file on 12/26/19. I am waiting to hear from them. They will contact me again on 12/30/19. My vehicle has this problem all the time.the poor visibility is a constant no matter where I drive. It is especially difficult with on coming traffic, since I have to turn off my high beam as not to create a problem for on coming traffic. I have avoided using my car at night as it is such a safety issue for me and the on coming traffic. Thank you for any help or insight you may have.

Headlights are not bright enough to see at night. Need to use high beams in order to see the road at night. Can't see peripheral vision. Can only see straight ahead with minimal distance. This is a major issue and I try to avoid driving at night at all cost. This issue needs to be rectified by Cadillac immediately so no one gets injured.

The headlights are failing and this car is too dangerous to drive at night. We are forced to drive with high beams on because otherwise you cannot see the road. Many many instances of this posted online and Cadillac has been aware of problem for some time. Also class actions suits. Yet they will recall and are forced to pay huge amount for repairs.

Headlamps have condensation build up and the low beams do not provide enough light to drive. Last night I almost had an accident trying to go somewhere and had to take corrective measures to keep from driving into a ditch that I could not see. This is incredibly dangerous and we almost wrecked because the low beams give off almost no light to the roadway.

Very low intensity low-beam lighting while operating vehicle during hours of darkness. Consequently, vision is reduced to unsafe levels resulting in a near-miss involving bicycling pedestrians. GM doesn't recognize it as a safety issue but hundreds of internet reported complaints indicate otherwise.
