This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Cadillac dealer.
I am FURIOUS! I purchased a 2015 Cadillac SRX in 2016 with very low mileage. Two years ago, the Cue System had to be replaced but it was covered under Warranty. Now, just 2 years later again, it went & has to be replaced again and this time it's costing me 2 Grand! That's ridiculous that these things only last 2 years and I have low mileage so it doesn't get driven all that much. I can't believe you don't stand behind your products other than offering a lousy 15% off which is under $200... It's insulting and there are LOTS of complaints on this! Because of this, I'll never purchase another Cadillac as I am a Sr. Citizen & on a fixed income & can't afford to keep doing this! I plan to complain on every media site I can so others don't have to get stuck doing this!

The issue with the Info Touch Screen on my 2015 SRX began a month or two ago. It would be unresponsive for a short time then come back to normal. Today, 5/31/2022, it quit for good. No temp control, no radio, no nothing!
Can't wait to hear what this replacement cost will be.

CUE screen was replaced under warranty 1/3/19. Now in June '19, it is going haywire again. Chevrolet wants $1600 to replace a 5+ months old screen. Original warranty ran out in May '19. The new screen should last more than 5 months. If a driver gets distracted while on the road, it can cause accidents, even fatalities. We were considering purchasing a second Cadillac, but will not, if this is how they treat customers.

Official price for the repair of a new Cue screen by the dealership was $1,600. I went on Amazon, spent $180 and with the help of a YouTube video, I was able to fix this myself in 40-60 minutes.

The car has been in Mentor Cadillac repair shop, then sent to Willoughby, Ohio. Everything worked before it went to Willoughby. The car was damaged and fixed. A lady backed into the car and damaged the driver’s side. In order for my wife to get out, she had to climb over the center console.

As there are thousands of complaints filed, I want to do also. I do see right now there is a lawsuit in the courts over the problem for anyone that has a Cadillac 2014 to 2018 (mine is a 2015). I started having problems right after warranty ran out as in what always happens but as everyone else said, it's the cue that just freezes up. I have been able to do hard resets which will make it start working for a few days then back to the same old problem.
GM had to know about this its been all over the internet for years now. I'm just hoping some day they will do a recall which is what should be done when everyone that owns one has the same problem. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see there is a default in the manufacturing of the cue system, but until then I have to put up with it. It makes me hate GM products.

After 35K miles the cue touch screen becomes unresponsive.
Hope one day GM ''MAKES CADILLAC GREAT AGAIN''.

Screen has cracked/spiderwebbed which I have been told is because the screen is separating. This has caused the screen to no longer work. All of the controls for the vehicle systems are controlled by the screen. I cannot listen to my radio because there is no way to change the media sources. I cannot control the heat/AC without hitting the Auto button, which means it does everything according to the temperature I select. I cannot select whether I want the air on feet/face/both, etc. The navigation system (which I just paid to update mapping system) is completely unusable. The phone option, to accept or cancel phone calls so it is hands free, is not usable. This is an expensive vehicle that should have equipment last longer than four years.

While having my oil changed, I reported a problem with an issue with my CUE system. My whole Cue system freezes up or a warning message gets stuck on the Cue screen, radio stations double up on the screen so the screen freezes, and it not useable (this could cause an accident if you aren't paying attention to the road). When I checked in, I told the representative about my issue, and he said that is so common on these cars. The service department called and said that it would be $150 to run a diagnostic to identify the problem, so I asked if this was such a common problem, would they fix the issue. He said it was no loaner under warranty so they would not even though this is a major issue with the Cue system. I refused to pay for the 'diagnostic' since they told me they would not cover the issue.
They said the replacement of CUE system would be approximately $1900 and they weren't sure or couldn't guarantee that that would take care of these issues!
This is a common problem with SRX - why hasn't Cadillac stepped up and fixed this issue?
This should be a recall issue. I know after losing a major functionality of my car and having this type of response when it is a common issue. I would never recommend that anyone buy this car, and I will never buy a Cadillac vehicle again.

Soon after my warranty goes out the cue screen froze. I was out of town using my navagation to find directions. When calling the repair I am told i have to put it thru diagnostics and then if it needs replacing it will cost me from 1300.00 to 1500.00 to have it replaced. If Cadallic knew there was already a problem i think they should be replacing them or recalling them. Doesn't sound like a danger but when you need to know where your going it could be dangerous. I have only had this car for a year I love it but this makes me wonder as to how well everything else on the car has been made with the correct parts. This should have not happened in a vehicle as nice as this one is. Please inform me of any updates. Thanks

In five years my 2015 Cadillac Cue screen went out 3 times. It had to be replaced due to you could not use radio, air control, navigation, and my onstar would not work. How many more times am I going to have to fix it? Help.

Ongoing Caddy issue. GM not doing a recall to fix the issue.
- B S., Fargo, ND, US
The cue system does not work. I will never buy Cad again.
- Michael J., Inglewood, CA, US
There now have had multiple class action lawsuits on this and so far there is nothing that Cadillac is doing about it.
- Roger B., Toledo, OH, US
The screen looks scratched but it's on the inside, it is unresponsive which makes the radio not work, GPS, heat, AC, etc.
- Jackie H., Dover, NJ, US
My 2015 Cadillac SRX cue screen has gone out 3 times. The last time I had to pay $1,600.00 out of pocket and it only has a two year warranty with it from the same dealership I bought it from.
- Diane U., Harker Heights, US
The screen will not respond to touch. It is frozen! I was told that the only fix is replacement at a cost of 800 at a dealership for a car with only 42,000 miles.

Cadillac CUE is a colossal FAIL. GM should issue a recall. Service Department said they've had over 50 of these in for service just in their Idaho dealership. CUE becomes erratic, unresponsive, rendering heating/ cooling, navigation, radio, weather, and all controls useless.

Had car serviced and reported problem, at time was an issue with CUE system, my programmed Sirius stations would not work and then the heater vents wouldn't work either. Service dept said they couldn't find issue. I finally paid a 'diagnostic fee' and they told me that they 'could possibly repair' but couldn't be sure that it would take care of entire problem with both CUE and heater vents..... really....
They said the replacement of CUE system would be approx $1900 and they weren't sure or couldn't guarantee that that would take care of these issues!
Really, $50K and warranty is now up and whole CUE system just states, don't take eyes off road, BS and can't use phones, etc.
This is a common problem with SRX, why hasn't Cadillac stepped up and fixed this issue.

I’m really pissed that my SRX CUE has webbing on screen! I paid a lot of money for this car! I never expected this to happen to a luxury brand! Cadillac must pay for repairs! The webbing on the CUE has cheapened the look of my Cadillac!
