I have babied this car since I bought it used. I have loved this car style/shape since I first saw it as a concept car at our local auto show. being able to own it was just happiness. I love the way it drives. I love the way it handles. However, it has proven to be such a disappointment and over priced. This CUE display cracking is nothing but a nuisance! It is May, 2022. It has finally gotten warm in northeast Ohio. This is the second time the CUE cracked. The first time was April, 2018. I was able to get that replaced because of a warranty of some sort. As soon as it gets warm, the CUE cracks.
Does this happen to everyone? Is this common? What happens in the southern states of the USA where it is warm 11 months out of the year? There should be nothing but problems and people yelling. Why do all the controls need to be on a touch screen display anyway? It's not easier to control. GM has a failing product. Everything has been farmed out of the USA and it shows. Congratulations people - made in China inferior products are upon us!! And if you don't want it or like it - let your fat ass walk to work!! Like that's gonna happen.

A crack on the CUE (Cadillac User Experience) computer system screen shaped like a spider web that happened on 2/10/2022 with 60,000 miles. CUE system failed to respond when touching the screen.
Defect is a critical safety issue since the CUE system controls all HVAC, Entertainment, Monitoring and Vehicle controls. Recommend a recall be issued since replacing the CUE screen could cost about $800 to $900 and would be difficult to properly operate the vehicle in a safe environment.
I am also not sure if this defect falls into the State's Lemon Law.

As a "CADILLAC" the cost for this type of vehicle should not have this type of issue and for GM/Cadillac not to do a recall or to actually pay for the repair is a SORRY company to sell vehicles that have this type of issue.
Also, my rack bars on top of my vehicle are bubbling up as well. The Mirrors need to be reset daily before I drive.
