'recall campaign' Cadillac Seville 1996 for fuel rail and return line. When the consumer completed his 60 mile trip, she noticed she had lost about 8 gallons of gas in that one trip. When the consumer exited the vehicle, there was a smell of gas. The consumer contacted the dealer and was informed of a recall, however after the dealer inspected the vehicle the consumer was told that the particular gas line she was having problems with was not apart of the recall. Gas was spraying toward the catalytic converter. Recall# 04V110000.

While driving 75 mph the vehicle stalled. Recall campaign: 04V110000. The consumer stated that the service prior to the recall notice had nothing to do with maintenance of the vehicle. The consumer stated that as soon as the recall repair was completed the vehicle ran perfectly. Reimbursement requested by the consumer.

I would also like to bring to your attention the fact that the fuel filter is located on the right side of the frame just inches from the front bumper. I strongly feel that this needs imediate attention. Also, my seatback broke immediataly after impact which rendered my shoulder harness useless.
