My son's car battery died. Had to use the extra key to insert in bumper/facia to unlock drivers door from the trunk location. I opened the hood. Charged the battery or so I thought. He got in the car shut the door and could not start the car. Problem was since the battery was still dead no electrical systems worked the button to open the trunk, and the power button to open the door would not work. luckily the hood had been open because I had to to try and jump the car.when jumping the car I told him to hit the power window switch and the drivers window went down. Had he been alone he could have died in the heat with not being able to get out when the electrical system went out with the dead battery. The only way he could of gotten out would have been to break the driver side or passenger side window, possibly by taking the headrest off and smashing it against the window.
