Contacted General Motors about a replacement light, was told that they do not make parts for cars that are over ten years old. Since the parts are interchangeable, I asked them to order me one for the year 2009. They no longer make them for that year either. Basically, they sold me a $70000 dollar vehicle that I can no longer drive because in my state, taillights are mandatory. From my research, apparently there is a design flaw in the right side taillight, the capacitor is bad. I have searched all of North America, and there is not one to be found. As for General Motors, they told me I was on my own, nothing they could do for me. I will never buy a Cadillac again.
