While bringing this car to the dealership for an engine light on I was getting something out of the back and the button wasn't working to close the door. The service advisor noticed and I told him it works about 80% of the time. I then shut it manually and he said we can take a look at it. He called me a day later and said that it needed a new sensor and it would be $451. I told him that it was fine because I can just shut it manually for free. He then stated that it would be $150 for an hour of time that it took to inspect and diagnose. Never telling me upfront that he would be charging just to look at it. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service a Cadillac dealership boasting every time you call that they are the #1 Cadillac dealership of the year. What year?and who's judging?
