My issue with this complaint belongs to "CAR SHIELD". I had been paying for extended coverage for more than two years at $119.00 a month. All my warning lights on my dash started to coming on at varies times. I called my dealer, James Woods Motors in Decatur, TX. They are M dealer I bought my car at. I told them I thought it was a computer problem because the car would start and drive ok. So we made a appointment to bring it in. I told them I had Car Shield coverage and I was advise they do not accept Car Shield and a few other policies like me. However they said they actually had them not play for a claim or would they allow any parts that weren't manufactured parts. Car Shield insisted on using after market parts. The next closest GM dealer was in Bowie and they also wouldn't accept Car Shield. So I got car shield back on the phone and they couldn't find a GM dealership or Cadillac dealership that could take my car within 60 mile radius.
I went ahead and paid for the testing with James Woods which is 15 minutes from my home. It turned out not to be a car computer problem. It was my battery. The testing and battery cost me $130.00. I'm supposed to have a $100.00 with car shield but I never heard from then again but I was left with the fact I've been this amount each month without any coverage. What a fraud. I have a small life insurance policy I'm paying $120.00 if I died I wouldn't expect them to tell my wife he was just paying that policy for nothing we can't give you coverage. I didn't know Car Shield was being sued for their lack of coverages to their customers until yesterday. My bank will only dispute back for two months so all this money I paid for two years was for nothing, they just scam me. If I had the money I would get a attorney and sue them myself.
