XT5 Luxury 3.6L

The auto stop/start feature is supposed to turn the engine off when you are stopped, and turn it back on when you release the brake. It is a fuel saving feature. Right now, it is not working at all. Previously, it would stop the car when the A/C was running, which it is not supposed to do.

A certified dealer said it not working was actually a correct functioning of the car. This response, even though none of the stated conditions under which it should not function were in effect.
