XT5 3.2L

Calling this problem a pain in the ass is barely touching the surface. This car has been one problem after another. The check engine light would come on randomly and when I would take it in for service if it was not on I was told they could not duplicate a problem. When I finally drove directly to the dealership with the check engine light on they were able to tell me that it was the brake switch and made the proper adjustments. That lasted about a week. Two more check engine lights and two more trips to that dealership solved nothing.

I turned to another dealership. They also were not able to duplicate a problem. I filed a complaint with GM and an engineer was brought in to assess my car. The found the brake switch was never attached properly. (3 months later) I was assured the problem was fixed. The vehicle still randomly loses power when I try to excel orate, feels like it won't shift out of a low gear, gets stuck with the parking brake on-even though I never put it on.

The records from the second dealership say they offered me a buy back-which they did not- I WOULD HAVE HAPPILY ACCEPTED!! This car is going back again to attempt to service the loss of power problem. I am asking for the buy back and will never recommend a Cadillac to anyone!
