Filed this same complaint several times since 1995 to Chevy. Chevy never returned my answer why Astros never have "door ajar" light installed at factory. I see their Venture and Transport do have this feature. If the "door ajar" light went on, I'll pull over and check the doors to be sure they're shut. I feel this feature is part of "safety" and should be added at the factory. 2000 Astro model still does not have this light.
