About These NHTSA Complaints:
The NHTSA is the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints can be spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem. See the Back button — blue bar at the very top of the page — to explore more.
I received a letter stating that 1995 4.3L engines were having trouble with the linear exhaust recirulation valve. It describes the symptoms which my van has started exhibiting. While they were offering to fix vehicles with such problems they limited it to vehicles to under 75K miles. My van has 82K. My point was Chevy recognized there was a problem with this valve (whether it was over or under 75K) it was defected...they have refuse to offer assitance even though they admit it is a problem...where can I go for help
