Key was in ignition but the engine was not activated. Child moved automatic transmission lever without holding down the brakes, which resulted in vehicle rolling away.

The park pawl did not engage which caused the vehicle to roll down hill with 2 children in the car. Then crashed into trees, no injuries involved. Dealer said inter- lock safety system malfunctioned.
