Loss of braking due to defective rotors deteriorating from within. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that vehicle was not covered under a recall or warranty. Consumer stated that the dealer admitted that this was a common problem with metallic brake linings, the steel peels away from the rotors.

Battery cable started to smoke under normal driving conditions. Also, brake lines had to be replaced because they melted due to heat from the battery short.
