I own a 2005 1500 LS Chevy Avalanche I bought it on 9/2005 bran new from a dealer .My wife use this car to take the kids to school and to grocery, shopping and doctors appointment. We been having such a bad experience with this car from leaking in the cargo bay the first year, to a check engine light for a gas cap sensor that it took 3 to 4 times to the dealer to fix it, to a new radio/cd player the 2nd year, to a new a/c compressor and blower, a door motor, 3 to 4 times suspension problem, Luckily I bought an extended warranty and just recently this year $1,700 in a new transmission and now a overheating radiator fan problem. This car is never been used to tow anything nor carried any cargo or anything heavy. Until the beginning of this year I was considering to by a Suburban or a Yukon despite fuel consumption because comfort and to support our Automakers but I think I rather not due to all this bad maintenance experiences.
