Avalanche LS 5.4L

The engine uses at least a quart of oil when driving on the interstate for an extended period of time. The longer after an oil change the worse the problem is. The engine is fine driving in town, but after several 60 plus mile trips I notice the oil level is low. The truck has proven to be unreliable on the interstate, and for out-of-town driving.
