This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
The first time it stopped working vehicle was under warranty, Chevrolet dealer repaired...now it's broken again. Sounds like it should be a recall, but none forthcoming. Time for a Ford maybe.

I have had all the door locks replaced in my truck for the actuators breaking and a couple of them more than once. Thank goodness I have the extended warranty, but still completely a pain because when they are broken expecially on the back doors I have to roll the window down to manually unlock the door because you can't reach them from the front! And no recall on them either! FYI I am not constantly unlocking and locking the doors so the actuators should be lasting longer than a year!

I had the problem fixed three times and it is definitely a safety issue. If you have a fire in the vehicle you would be unable to exit the vehicle. It still does it occasionally. The Chevrolet dealer said they would fix again if needed even though the warranty has run out. I have seen on different sites that other people are having this problem. Why doesn't Chevrolet recall these items & fix the problem or do they not know how to fix?
