The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500. While driving approximately 30 mph, the check engine warning light illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was taken to the dealer multiple times over a span of three years where it was diagnosed that the throttle position sensor and the program sensor kit needed to replaced. The contact also stated that the ls valve cover, number one plug, cylinder head, piston rings, and a deflector needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired and an oil consumption test was performed over a six month period. In addition, the engine was flushed; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 43,000.

The vehicle doors will unlock and lock several times while I'm driving, it will also cause the dashboard, clock-radio and onstar system to flicker off and on. Then it will start to throw error messages on the dashboard about stabilitrak and theft deterrent systems disabled.
