Avalanche

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

I have had this Dash replaced already and I see on your website and others that it's a common problem. is there a recall on it? I no longer have a warranty and the dealership is asking $600 to repair it. Due to the current economic hardships unable to fix it. will you be recalling in this Dash.

We spend a lot for this truck, but seems like everything is going wrong.

Avalanche LT 5.3L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 54,000 miles

AGAIN! The problems continue with this vehicle! I will never purchase a Chevrolet! This is my 2nd Avalanche and the one with the biggest problems. The dash started rattling, slowing slits appeared in the dash; NOW IT JUST SOUNDS LIKE A CLUNKER! I have purchased a dash cover to see if that would help! It just keeps getting worse. before long it will probably collapse!

Avalanche LT 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission

Apparently its a wide spread problem that unless you are under warranty, they won't fix it for less than 1100 bucks. Might be the last GM I buy. Have been a Chevy guy my whole life. Think they lack workmanship and don't stand behind it. Kinda like a Maytag AC unit.

Avalanche LTZ 5.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 59,000 miles

I have a 2009 black Avalanche LTZ loaded with only 59000 miles. I only drive this truck on special occasions and I can't believe there are so many Avalanches, Tahoes, Suburbans , with the same problems. The dash has a CRACK over the Cluster. Does anyone know why GM would not want to keep there customers happy and take care of this? I paid a lot of money for this truck! Looks like I will be looking to buy something different than Chevrolet next time!
