both front seats leak oil on outside rear of seat

Just took it to a dealer with both front seats leaking oil out of the outside rear of both seats, dealer said they will have to take one of them apart and see why it is leaking and order parts? Figured a Chevrolet dealer would know what to do? Wonder if this is happening a lot?
