When changing the plugs and wires I discovered that the spark plugs wells had significant oil in them. This was causing the engine to miss fire and lose power. The plugs were also very worn and well out of tolerance with the gap. Checking one of the worn out plugs the gap was .065 when the gap was supposed to be .045. After replacing the gasket, plugs, and wires vehicle runs very well again.
