Took to dealer - Had it for 3 days, told them it started when I filled my tank. They charged $656 the first time said it needed a tuneup and they spent a lot of time on it. Got it back drove home it was really smooth ride. Next day took my daughter to work - a little shake. Filled up my tank at the recommended gas station - light came back on.

Return to dealer - they have the car for 2 days - now they say it is the gas - went where they told me to go - cost another $250. The dealer doesn't even have a clue - I still am waiting for my car back.

Really, the engine light said that it detected a evap leak. But couldnt find it, so I guess from that day forward iv been enhailing fumes. So you reset the code for $74 and send me on my way to come back if it happens again? If you cant duplicate the problem why are you charging me?!?!?!?!?!

First, I have no complaint about my dealership - my problem is with GM/Chevrolet for not wanting to fix my car correctly. The oil light came on in my car in March after I had brought my car into the dealer for an oil change. I immediately took my car to the dealership for diagnosis of the problem. First, it was deemed to be an electrical problem. Then, it went to a broken sending unit. Next, it was the sensor/pressure switch. After the car was in the shop for one week, I got the car back for it to break down on me again! The car is still in the shop and my dealer is waiting on GM/Chevrolet to give them the green light on what to replace next. I have been through a new oil pump, cam shaft, crank shaft, bearings, cylinders and countless other parts. My dealer wants to drop a new engine in the car, but they are being held up by the manufacturer. Why - because GM wants to fix the car as cheaply as possible. Forget customer service. There has been talk that there are other cars just like mine that are having the same problem. It has been stated that the technicians at the manufacturer do not have a clue as to what it will take to fix the problem. So what? They are using my car as a guinea pig? Meanwhile, I have paid two car payments, new stickers for my tag and dumped gas in a rental that is not even my own car to the tune of $400+. The dealer's hands are tied. So here we sit and wait for GM to figure out what to do next. They are not even considering the possibility of a replacement! They expect me to trade my car in so I will have yet more money to dump into payments for a car that I did not need - my car is a new car!

I only had this car for about a month and my check engine light just came on, I took it to the car dealer and they said nothing was wrong with it but still kept it for 5 days (don't ask me why).

Here we go again. In addition to the other complaints i have reported, all of which happened at the same time and continue to be a problem with the vehicle. It comes on and off intermittenly and has been in now for days. There's no reason for it other than the car still runs like crap - puttering, backfireing, engine racing, etc., etc., Dealer says there's nothing wrong with it. So why then wont they take this piece of junk back?
