Dealer read the code from the car computer. They said that there was a bulletin issued for this problem and they knew how to correct it. Repairs cost me 855 bucks out of my pocket because it was out of warranty. Why they didn't issue a recall if they knew this problem exists.......not sure. Otherwise, it's been a great car. Not a luxury automobile by any stretch, but it has taken me to and from work (60 miles roundtrip) for 4 years now and this was the only problem that i have encountered thus far.

While I am driving on interstates, highways, etc. my car will randomly turn off. If it doesn't turn off, it will cap the speed at 35 mph, forcing me to drive on the shoulder with my hazards on. It takes me more than double the time to get from point a to point b. It is embarrassing and dangerous. I have taken it to two different mechanics and they both "fixed" it only for it to begin turning off the next day. I don't have money for a new car or for them to play around with mine while they try to fix it.
