Aveo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100 miles

We bought the car new. After a month the air went out. Now the car stops when driving it. The paint is peeling the door handles came out. I would not recommend anyone to buy a Aveo car. The problems were never covered on the warranty. I stopped going to the dealer. I am frustrated with this car. I have a mechanic that is going to check it in the next few days.

Aveo LX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 18,000 miles

This car was not used much was purchased in 2009, you can see by the low mileage it was not used that often. I let my daughter use it when need.To me a new compressor with such low miles should be reported. I refuse to go back to Jack Wilson of St. Augustine Florida. They wanted last year $1200 to fix the A/C problem had it diagnosed else where for $980. Please help or explain how a car with low miles bought new paid off and this problem. Please contact me threw email at justinebeckham@comcast.net.Thank you need advice with this Lemon.

Aveo LT V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 105,045 miles

The 09 Chevy Aveo5 was purchased as a low maintenance, economy Eco-friendly vehicle. Minus the 3 recalls, I have not had any problem. Today, I went to start up my car and turn on the AC with it only blowing hot air. I took the vehicle to a (non named) repair shop where they checked the AC and found the AC compressor inoperable. For the car to only be 4 years old, this is ridiculous. I will be taking the car to the Chevy dealer in the morning to see if there is something to be done.
