Aveo LT 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

This is a known problem. This is the 2nd trip to the dealer. The dealer has been fantastic and I have an excellent service writer. The problem is that the Aveo is one of the worst mistakes Chevrolet has made. They ought to offer to buy back every one of them like the Toyota van that was recalled (I think).

Aveo

Every time I slowed down the air conditioning blew hot air. Every time I hit a BUMP, the air conditioner blew hot air. But, of course, the dealership could NEVER find anything wrong with it.

Aveo 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 69,300 miles

I am so disappointed in this car. It is a real cute car and nothing but problems 6 months after I got the car. The car would jerk back and forth and not accelerate at all. I took in the car to the dealership and they stated nothing is wrong with the car. About 2 months later the driver side door's key entrance fell through inside door panel and could not roll the window down all the way. I called the dealership while the car was under warranty and I was explained that was not part of the warranty. Most recently the locking mechanism to the car does not work and if I lock my car I cant get in, had to climb in through the back, very embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!!! The cherry on the cake was the car stalling completely in 5pm traffic and almost getting hit. I'm so upset I want this car to be taken away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
