Aveo 4LT 1.4L

AC not working. I also had to replace every hose on this car. I am also experiencing suspension issues, the rear of the car kicks out while going over bumps. The car idles high, and is overall a piece of crap. Its a rebuilt Daewoo. Most likely won't have any recalls on it. I was told by my chevy dealer "you get what you pay for".

Went to turn my a/c on and it blew out hot air. I've done everything and the heat is still coming out of it. I am wondering if my warranty is still in effect because by me being on a very fixed income, I cannot have repairs done and I want the A/C working. Please help me. Thank you.

Unable to even get a ball park figure on what it is going to cost. Daughter's boyfriend is looking into what it will cost to replace compressor and dryer if he does it. Looks like about $400. I can't find anything online that tells me what they (Chevy house, or repair facility) charge. I'm sure it's at least $1000. It's a 4 year old car. This is not an issue I should be having. Plus I have a medical condition that is really going to be affected in the summer if I haven't gotten the money to fix it.

Aveo 2LT 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 52,000 miles

I bought this vehicle in Jan 2014 used with 52k miles on it. AC freezes up and after months of "diagnostic" the vehicle (aka draining my wallet w/o fixing the problem previously), now the new report is bad compressor. Almost $1,300 to fix and I have to come up with 300.00 for a deductible to cover the repair. Vehicle still under powertrain warranty and is unbelievable that the compressor already is bad on a vehicle under 100K miles on. Not very happy.
