no power after starting & shifter won't come out of park
Randomly when starting my car, the engine will start but the gear shifter will not shift out of park and engine RPM will not raise when pressing the gas pedal. Mechanic does not know what is wrong and said the car went into "limp mode" because something happen to it. I can use the emergency shift release button near the gear shifter to get it into drive and the problem goes away. Anybody else had this problem or know what is wrong?
