I have reported this vehicle in the past to Chevrolet and NHTSA. Several problems with the braking system, ABS are the major complaints and also the power locking system for the doors. After an accident in December 1997, due to faulty brakes and ABS not stopping the vehicle the dealer said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Then he made repairs to the braking system where the dealer said he replaced the rotors and the brakes in January of 1998. Even after he made these repairs the brakes and the ABS was still not working I returned to the dealer and he said there still was nothing wrong until it happened when I had the repair manager in the truck with me. Mr. Wallace of warnock Chevrolet of morristown New Jersey siad then that he was 110 percent sure there was something wrong. This is after the fact of the many attempts prior to trying to get them to fix this problem before the accident of December 1997 occurred. In July of 1998 after several months of having problems I went to another dealer who told me that the same repairs had to be done. He also said I needed a tune up, which I only had in may of 1997 by warnock. This truck has had numerous complaints on the the ABS and the braking system, and power door locks not operating correctly. I think it is about time the government did something before someone gets killed. I also believe warnock Chevrolet is a disreputable dealership. I demand an investigation. Work on this vehicle for the brakes has occurred 3 times in its vehicle history.
