In March, my son was on the on ramp about to get on I-65 in indianapolis, when everyone started breaking for a car who had ran out of gas. He brake, but he slid into the back of a semi driven by johnny deaton. This collision did $992 to our vehicle. We had the vehicle fixed at a cost of $ $492 (we had $500 deductible) at the end of may, we received a recall notice from Chevrolet sites the longer stopping distance required when breaking is due to a malfunctioning switch. My question is this--- should chevro;let be responsible for compensating us for this accident? thanks, steve schrink
