According to a usa today article GM is going to be issuing a recall for 1997-8 SUV's(w/pwr. Mirrors), for an electrical prob. In the wiring in the doorthat could cause a fire. I thought the radio said it was 1995-98. My car just had an apparent simmilar incident. My vehicle was a 1995 Blazer ls 2dr.
