			The vechile was coming up to a stoplight. My daughter was driving my 1997 Chevy Blazer. She pushed down on the brakes and nothing happened. She tried again and still nothing. She and my younger daughter crashed into a semitruck trailer. The police estimate her speed at 28 mph. There are no skid marks. The brakes did not work.

			The brakes failed on the vehicle and caused a minor accident due to slow traveling speed in parking lot. I have contacted the manufacturer that admits a fault in the ABS system, but does not claim responsibilty for the damage. I am not mechanically inclined, but believe this to be a serious problem.

			ABS brake light was on for 26,000 miles & could not be shut off by dealerships with at least four attempts. Brakes wore out pre-maturely. Brakes continue to be very spongy & sometimes goes almost to the floor with difficulty stopping. Brake booster also replaced. Dealerships say that's the way Blazer brakes are.
