Faulty windshield wiper motor. The motor continues to run but the wipers do not move. Have to get out of car & manually try to get them moving. Also the key gets stuck in the ignition. Have had this fixed @ 1 yr. Ago but started happening again. Does not seem as bad in the real cold weather.

Engine will shut off at random as if the ignition has been quickly turned off (or the electrical system has quickly shut down), which is a cause of major concern to me as I have to pull to the roadside without power brakes or steering which have failed too (without any power). Reading reports from other people here, it appears to be a common complaint, and I would like to know if anyone has had a resolution to this problem. I have not been to the dealer yet, but I will be going in there in the near future and would like to give them an idea of what engine or electrical component is the problem. Thank you.

Chevrolet contacted (reference # 205786717) in reference to problems with vehicle including: Failed ball joint while driving, others ball joints worn at that time and replaced (they were ok when checkced in July for state inspection), failed unit available; ignition switch failed causing vehicle to stall and eventually not start; problem with excessive wear on front disc pads (causing pads to be replaced 5 times in 48,000 miles). Chevreolet advises they are not going to take any actions concerning these problems. Copies of letters to Chevrolet & receipts available upon request.

A spark plug electrode punched a hole through piston, which caused an engine failure while driving. Dealer / manufacturer notified, and unwilling to assist in this matter. Consumer states he has photos of the disassembled motor showing the damage.
