I was outside of the parked vehicle and I pressed on the button (key hole) to open the back glass (window) and it burst in my face glass shattered everywhere for no reason. Nothing was touching the glass at all. I have two others who wittnessed this and GM is declining my request to replace it. I feel this had to be a defect in the glass I didnt do anything to cause this to happen other than pressed on the button to open the window.

The latch for the rear windshield is fastened only to the rubber gasket aroud the window, never to the glass as there is no residue as if it ever had been. Finally the rubber broke and the hatch flew open. The hatch will no longer stay closed on its own. I have seen other Blazer with the same "defect". I have been told by several bodyshops that it should have been bonded at the factory and they cannot fix this.
