Clicks and clicks and clicks...most annoying thing in the world to have to spend money on fixing. My advice--Get rid of this vehicle before it causes you more problems. Trust me. I found out the hard way

This blinker thing is driving me crazy does anyone have a solution?
- cherlynn, Aiken, SC, US
This blinker situation is a pain in the ass. It goes off constantly even when the blinker is not engaged. If the brake peddle is pressed it does seem to stop. If you have a solution to this problem please share.

Continuous clicking as if the turn signal was on, sometimes got relief when the brake pedal was applied, interrupting/ changing the cycle. Incurred intermittent wiper problems at the sme time

Flasher unit keeps clicking erratically. What is the solution to fix
- craigalberta, Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada
combination signal/hazard flasher contacts "clicking" erratically, continuous"clicking" when applying brake replaced combo. flasher no luck. Spoke to rude, ignorant, pricky service manager @ GM dealer who "reluctantly" told me to change the complete signal/wiper/hi/lo beam switch, after trying to lure me into the shop.Being a truck & coach technician, I'm certain that I could perform this task myself, however,I'm also aware that electronic parts are non-returnable once installed. Before I spend copious amounts of money on the switch, further investigation is warranted. P.S. Being a tradespersons and working with the public, I willingly & freely divulge information to customers ,unlike GM service advisers who seem to think that giving information over the phone is tantamount to industrial sabotage.
