Blazer LX V6

When the weather was warm there was a clicking noise coming from my wheels. When the weather started to cool off I noticed that anytime I went over a speed bump my truck would 'crunch'. After having it looked at I was told the ball joints and sway bars needed replaced. Less than a year ago they repacked the bearings. That worked for a while.

Blazer LE

  • 55,000 miles

We have experienced "crunching" noises under the front end of this vehicle since we purchased it (new). It initially made this noise when steering to the extreme right or left. Over time the sound, which gives the impression of something shifting underneath, occurs more frequently and while simply driving along any road (bumpy or smooth); YET it will go days without making the noise at all.

We had a tire replaced in an emergency situation and were told the ball joints (and something else) needed to be replaced. We took the vehicle to our regular repair shop but they could find nothing wrong (the noise was not present that day).
