Blazer LT 4.3

  • Automatic transmission
  • 110,000 miles

Much like some other people on this site...the motor, when first started, hesitates. It has little or no power and knocks for about 10 to 20 seconds. Then it miraculously regains power and is back to normal. Anyone have any ideas?

Blazer LS 4.6L Vortec

  • Automatic transmission
  • 84,653 miles

I had the car and it was doing great. The car started losing power and then it started making a knocking noise. My dad got me the car and luckily he is a mechanic so he new what was wrong with it. It wasd the crank, bottom end you have to either put another motor in it, or get a crank repair kit. I have not got it fixed yet mainly because the money i was saving to get it fixed went to a fuel pump. I was in the process of moving when i went to start my car to take iot to our new house it wudn't start up. I was pissed. Has my dad to look at it, fuel pump there went $250.00. Other then that nothing has went wrong with the car, but i have only had it for about 1yr. I tried to get the guy I bought it form to fix it ,since it happened about 3months after buying it, but he pulled out the SOLD AS IS form. i was really mad. So my car has sat there in the yard for the remainder or the rest of year that i have had it. Now i will have to replace the tires on it because they have rotted, again i have only owned the car for 1yr. I am not discussed with Chevrolet however i will shop more carefully next time.

Blazer LT 4.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 130,000 miles

Screw Chevy! This Blazer has one issue after another! When you give it some gas (when first starting) it jerks and loses power. I thought it would be the tranny...wrong. Then I thought maybe the fuel pump....wrong( had that replaced twice already) Thought just maybe it could be electrical on the engine. I replaced the Distributor, plugs, plug wires, Air Filter, oil and oil filter...WTF!!! Wrong AGAIN.. Any clues anyone?

Blazer LS 4.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 130,000 miles

First off, i had a 1994 S-10 pickup that would've ran forever if it hadn't smacked a tree while off-roading. So, i bought a Chevy Blazer after, what a mistake. Among countless other things, every so often when i start it, it feels underpowered and shakes. I poured fuel injector cleaner in thinking maybe the injectors weren't spraying properly due to build up, but no luck. Help from anyone?
