A chunk of approximately 2-3" blew out of the sidewall of the rear passenger tire. My daughter was driving, and she lost control after the tire blew and hit a tree head on at 45 mph. The vehicle was totaled and my daughter has multiple injuries, including a fractured kneecap, sprained jaw, disc protrusions at C6/C7 and L5/S1. She is having headaches and facial pain and a brain mri was performed yesterday. We'll have those results sometime next week. The tire was purchased in October 2013, was 20% worn and had no signs of inflation problems or signs of anything striking the tire. It was a Goodyear tire.

Fuel gauge swings between " and full and sticks at half. Both front left & right side hub bearing assembly failed right side not as bad as left had both sides replaced-these are critical parts as they hold wheel on axle-I am second owner of car bought from dealer - dealer took 20% off total bill-defect not dealers fault but Chevrolet"S-called customer assistance told nothing they can or will do for me am still trying to get full refund for parts&labor for defective parts that should have not failed at this low milage.

I had to replace both front wheel bearings in my 2000 Chevrolet Blazer within a two week period. The vehicle has only 60,000 miles on it (VIN [xxx]). each replacement cost was $238, including labor. The bearings shouldn't have needed replaced with only 60,000 miles on it. I'm very displeased with this and want to find out if this is a common problem with this vehicle. Thank you for your assistance. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
