Consumer states the fuel guage is erratic and has unreliable readings. The vehicle is running out of gas and the tank no longer fills up to its correct gallon. The Chevrolet manufacture is aware and looking into the problem.

Gage package (water temp, fuel, oil pressure, battery amps) occasionally give higher false readngs and sticks. Readings do not reset to zero as with normal starting of the truck. This is a safety hazard as it preoccupies and may overly concern the driver with a false condition of the vehicle.
