After talking to several garages when I was shopping around for the best price for the repair, I was informed that this is a very common problem for blazers. I replaced both front wheel hubs as the hub is a sealed unit with the bearings inside it.You cannot lube it or just replace the bearings.I also found out that there is a cheap hub or a good hub you can buy for the wheels. I bought the good set and after just 1 year the wheels are making noise again! No wonder people are fed up if even the repairs don't last. Why did GM not address this problem, why was it under engineered and never corrected over the years? Where is that quality they always talk about? As far as I can tell all GM does is talk, they don't walk the walk. I am not impressed with GM's quality or its commitment to improvement, where is their program for tracking reoccurring problems in a vehicle line?I do not believe that I will purchase another GM product after my experience with this car and finding out how widespread the problems are and GM's lack of interest after its out the factory door.
