i need to know what the hell is wrong with my car and what i need to fix. i thought it was bad gas or a clogged line. I replaced all of the fuel parts and still the problem continues.

Started this crap all of a sudden, thought it was bad gas. Turns over great but sometimes it will sputter out and die completly but starts right back up. This might happen either when i start it first time of the day or it will happen while i am sitting at a traffic light. Sometimes it will sputter, almost die but doesn't. Whether it dies completely or almost dies my service engine soon light comes on, my fan kicks on and it is nowhere near hot. when light and fan come on I am able to sit at light and maintain rpms. This has been going on for about a month and at this point it won't run at all, starts great, won't run, tapping accelerator doesn't increase rpms. Smell exhaust strong
