Take off the king pin from the door frame. Watch taking it off, Because the back piece will fall into the frame and it's a bitch to get out unless you have a magnet. Take off the king pin and you will notice the whole piece is cracked. Take a piece of wood or metal and gently beat on the back of it to be flush with the side. Grind off the paint a little in order for a good ground for the welder. Make a good bead around the whole thing then grind it down smooth. Purchase some thread lock and place in on the bolts. Reinstall the piece and it will work. My buddies and I did it in a shop in High School. It's not too hard but if you drop the back piece, then it is really difficult!
