The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that the service air bags warning light remained illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to apple Chevrolet dealer (8585 w. 159th street, tinley park, il 60487, (708)429-3000) to have a diagnostic test performed. The mechanic located the failure code as the air bags supplemental restrain system failed and caused the passenger's side internal detection system to fail. The manufacturer was contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 16,000.
