I am not the only one with this issue in all of the GM vehicles. Onstar is telling people to drive to the nearest dealer with no oil pressure. The relief valve gets stuck and you get no oil to your engine.

It also caused my lifters to fail and wiped out my cam shaft. My car ran for 3-4 seconds until I got the alarm warning. It was then turned off and towed. It was not cranked again until after the pump was replaced.

Total bill is over $2,000 on a car with 71,000 miles and 6 years old so no warranty coverage. But if you have an intake or exhaust on your car they wont warranty it anyway.
