Camaro SS 6.2L

  • Manual transmission
  • 39,300 miles

I was driving then my check engine started flashing and the stability control tuned ON and loss a power I took it to a mechanic he told me it was code p0300 random misfires after the diagnostic he said it’s the Active fuel management lifters need to be replaced and the cost is $3,000 I was surprised my car never any problems and only has 39,000 miles after I did some research I found many people having the same problem I think this should be covered under recall it’s not good to this engine to fail in a low mileage like that.

Camaro RS V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,000 miles

The engine surges when come to a stop so it feels like the car is lurching forward or slipping on the brakes. It's scary because I am unsure what is happening and since it could not be duplicated - told to come back! Additionally I have videos of all the control dials on this car jumping up and down at staggering rates. I was told this is normal performance on a high tech performance car? It never occured until after the engine control module failure!
