Captiva LS 3 2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

When I crank the car there is a rattling or a squealing noise. Someone said that it could be the heat shield, but I don't know what it is. It gets worse the more that you drive it. I had the belt replaced because it was making a noise also and they thought that would fix my other noise, but it did not.
